Mangalore University

Mangalore University in Konaje is accredited at the 4 Star level by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) University. The University was the first university in the country to start Bachelor's degree programmes in Hotel Management, Fashion Design, Garment Design, Leather Design and Human Resource Development and Post Graduate programmes in Computer Software and Yogic Sciences.

Mangalore University has been imparting higher education in the streams of Arts, Commerce, Science, Law and Management. The University offers Master's degree programmes in the fields of Computer Science, Business Management, Microbiology, Electronics and Geo-Informatics.

Campus:
The campus of the University - Mangalagangotri, is located on a hillock, spread over 350 acres of land, 18 kms away from Mangalore city.The University has 29 Post-Graduate Departments on the Campus, 2 constituent colleges, 4 law, 17 education, 5 autonomous and 144 affiliated colleges/institutions.
