The Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), a Deemed University is located near the Electronic city at NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh. Its location is 3 Km from New Delhi – UP border. The university has been given full support by the Jaypee Group of Companies through Jaiprakash Sewa Sansthan (JSS), a not-for- profit trust. The university acquires 650, 000 square feet of land and houses smart buildings with modern state of the art facilities like Internet, well equipped library etc. The university has environment friendly Academic Block, Faculty Residences and Student Hostels.

Admission Scenario in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), NOIDA

Admission into Under Graduate programs of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) University is made on the basis of merit in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Candidates willing to take admission into any under graduate program of JIIT University need to write to AIEEE and must have to fill separate admission application form of the University. However Non Resident Indian (NRI) category candidates need not to appear in AIEEE. Admission of such candidates is made on the basis of merit in the marks obtained in qualifying examination. Admission into M.Tech. program of JIIT University is made on the basis percentile score in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Candidates for admission into M.Tech. program shall require submitting Valid GATE score for admission. Advertisement for filling admission application form generally published in March / April. The Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) University offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in different study areas of engineering. Admission is made on the basis of Interview conducted by the university. The selection process for Ph.D. programs takes place twice in a year, one in June – July and another is November – December.
