Guru Ghasidas University

Guru Ghasidas University started functioning from 6 June 1983 for providing higher education in different study disciplines at under graduate and postgraduate level. This is a member university of Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities. The university has got B+ grade from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The university is a residential institution. The University Commission (UGC) of India has given affiliating university status to Guru Ghasidas University. The University has many departments for providing higher education.
