Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is located in Cochin. It was founded in the year 1971 to facilitate quality postgraduate education in Kerala. University of Cochin was reorganized into Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) in February 1986. Its objective is to promote graduate and post-graduate studies and advanced research in applied science, technology, industry, commerce, management and social science.

CUSAT is located 10 kilometers to the north of city of Ernakulam. The main campus of the University covers an area of 180 acres. The University is well equipped with all the requisite facilities. It has a separate building for its Library which is very well stocked.

CUSAT has entered into academic collaborations and exchange programmes with many notable institutions across the USA, Europe, Russia, Japan, France, and other nations.
