Maharaja Agrasen Medical College is inviting applications for admission into B.Sc Nursing and Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery academic programs for the session 2011-2012.
Students seeking admission into B.Sc Nursing should have scored not less than 45% in 10+2 examination with English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects. This cut off is for the students belonging to General category. For students belonging to ST/SC, Reserved Category and OBC, the cut off mark is 40%. Age of the candidates should be between 17 years and 35 years.
Students wishing to enroll for General Nursing and Midwifery are required to have obtained not less than 45% in 10+2 examination with science subjects and Hindi as compulsory subject up to class X. For students belonging to Reserved category, SC/ST, and OBC, the cut off mark is 40%. Age should be between 17 years and 35 years. Widow/legally divorced and unmarried female candidates are eligible for the training of General Nursing and Midwifery.
To obtain prospectus a student can do so directly from the office of the medical college on payment of rupees 300. Prospectus along with the registration form can be obtained by post on payment of rupees 350 by bank draft drawn in favor of Director, Maharaja Agrasen Medical College, Agroha.
The number of seats reserved for students opting for Nursing and Midwifery course is 50.

Last date for sending filled-in application forms is July 4th 2011 for students seeking admission into B.Sc Nursing. August 10th 2011 is the last date for sending completed application forms for admission into General Nursing and Midwifery.
Counseling sessions for B.Sc Nursing candidates will be held on July 6th 2011. For candidates opting for General Nurisng and Midwifery, the counseling date is August 12th 2011. Counseling timing is 9.00AM onwards and venue is Office of the Director.
Maharaja Agrasen Medical College is affiliated to Pt B.D Sharma University of Health Sciences (Rohtak) and also Haryana Registration Nursing Council. The academic program is approved by the Government of Haryana recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
