Indian Institute of Science-Bangalore

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is situated in Bangalore. It was established in the year1909. the Institute was the vision of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata. However, it came into existence with the combined efforts of the Tatas, the Government of India, and the Government of Maharaja of Mysore. The University Grants Commission granted IISc Bangalore the status of a Deemed University.

The IISc Bangalore provides research facilities and technical education in relevant fields. It is affiliated to the Central University Haryana. The IISc Bangalore offers scholarships to the students who have gained admissioninto the Institute's various Post Graduate and Doctoral programs. Scholarships are provided for a maximum period of 2 years in the case of M Sc (Engineering) and 5 years in the case of Ph D candidates. 

Renowned personalities like, G.N. Ramachandran, Harish Chandra, S. Ramaseshan, Brahm Prakash, A. Ramachandran, C.N.R. Rao, and R. Narasimha have been associated with the Institute as students or faculty.

Eligibility: The candidate should be undergraduate with the Engineering field from any recognized University or institution. The admission is based on the GATE scores.

IISc Bangalore MBA Program

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Eligibility: The candidate must have done their Graduation in with any stream from any recognized University. The admission is based on the performance in Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) examination.

IISc Bangalore PhD

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
Eligibility: The candidate must hold his or her Masters degree in the engineering background. The admission on three factors - the Career analysis, entrance test, and the interview.
