Romanian-American University Tuition Fees

Tuition Fees
In order to cover the expenses necessary for the development of the educational process along with other services they benefit from during studies, the students pay tuition fees.

The amount for these taxes is set up by the Senate of the University, according to the type of the service, study or faculty; the tuition fees are as follows:

# full-time studies - bachelor degree - EURO 500 - for each of the 3 years
# part-time studies - bachelor degree - EURO 500 - for each of the 3 years (including 50 EURO worth of teaching support that remains in the possesion of the student)
# postgraduate studies - master degree BOLOGNA - 400 EURO/semester - duration: 4 semesters
# postgraduate studies - master degree - 400 EURO/semester - duration: 3 semesters

In the case of late payment of the taxes penalties of 1% will be applied for each day of delay, for 30 days, after which the student will be expelled.

The students who are expelled because of disciplinary misconduct, will not be returned the paid tax.

For the exams scheduled according to the curriculum, the students don't pay any taxes, the expenses being covered by the annual tax of study.

For each failed exam, whether as a result of absence or failure, the students will pay a tax which is set annually, by Senate Office.

The part-time students will only pay taxes for the exams that were attended and failed, and not for the missed ones.

For the exams attended during the reexamination period or within the credit system, as well as for the recovery exams, the students pay the amount set up by the Senate Office.

For the foreign students, the students with double citizenship or the Romanian students settled down abroad, the study taxes are set up according to the valid laws and they are paid in EURO or their equivalent in RON.
