As Britain continues to reduce the number of migrants from non-European countries such as the Caribbean, new student visa measures have been announced.
Reports out of England say the next set of changes to the immigration proposals will affect students on the points-based system.
They take effect on July 4.
The revised rules are said to target students who abuse the immigration system, while allowing genuine students to study at legitimate colleges as Britain seeks to eradicate bogus institutions.
Those allowed to study in Britain will be restricted from working; while there will also be restrictions on sponsorship of dependents.
Details of the proposed changes have come from Damian Green, the Minister of Immigration.
